The aim of this song in comparison to our music video andnarrative story is to convey that Christine is Independent
and can move on and let go of the past, the purpose is to
portray that decision making is not always easy and that it
is a matter of following what your heart is telling you, or what
you're thinking. The artist is reflecting back to "a break up" that
happened in the past with her ex boyfriend and is conveying to
the audience her sorrow and heartbreak. You maybe thinking
that it maybe too typical however we have attempted to make our
idea unique by using a "jar of hearts" as a prop, in which Chrisitine's
ex boyfriend collects the hearts of the girls that he is using.
The theme is love and romance however the atmosphere begins with
being dull and uncomfortable, to bright and normal as she is able to
let go.
