Music Video Narrative Ideas

In all of the verses in the song, the screen will display the singer alone in a white room sitting at her dressing table looking through photos and albums. She is expressing her anger towards her ex-boyfriend whilst he is ‘playing’ two other girls. The choruses will show the 'player' ex-boyfriend dating a different girl in each chorus as it is played.

He will have a jar of hearts with him when seen with these girls to show he is collecting their hearts. This will represent amount of different hearts that the 'player' is collecting. The singer then becomes stronger and realizes not to let him break her heart again during the last chorus. She will walk into her memories and removes herself from them to erase the memories.

This music video will fill 4:08 minutes of screen time by making the video narrative based but also there will be cross cuts of both the performance of the singer singing in the white room and narrative. This will not be another boring, typical heartbreaking love song as we plan to use hearts in jars (as a prop) to symbolize the girls losing their hearts and the boy collecting them with other unusual aspects.

The theme of this music video is heartbreak and romance. In the beginning the artist is upset and angry as her heart has been stolen. Towards the end she becomes strong and independent and realizes she doesn’t need him anymore as he will only cause more heartbreak and takes her heart back!!! </3
